The National Federation of the Blind has partnered with Vehicles for Charity to launch a new vehicle donation program.
Do you, your relative, your friend or any one you know have a working or non-working vehicle with the proper title and would like to donate it to the NFB Vehicle Donation Program? We accept cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles and recreational vehicles. We will remove the vehicle from your property without any charge to you whatsoever. All of your donations are tax deductible.
All you have to do is contact the program coordinator or the NFB. If you are not a resident of Mississippi but have family living there and still desire in making a donation to them, it’s extremely important that you emphasize that credit should be given to that State for your donation.
Mr. Alfred Morgan is the Vehicle Donation Program Coordinator for the state of Mississippi and his contact information is listed above for your convenience. He will be more than happy to assist you with your donation.
If you would like additional information or details including how to donate, call toll-free 1-855-659-9314, and a representative will help you, or visit the following website: http://www.nfb.org/vehicledonations.
Thanks a million for anything and everything that you can do in helping us make this program a great success all across the state of Mississippi and this nation.
We now have a YouTube video for the vehicle donation program that features four of our rockstar blind children! Here is a link to the video: http://youtu.be/EVn7jbP6Iyw. You can use this video on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. All you have to do is copy the link and paste it on your social media pages.
We will have a vehicle donation table in the back of the room during general sessions at the National Federation of the Blind Convention in Orlando. Please stop by and get stickers, flyers, mail inserts, and other information. You will know where we are by listening for the HONK HONK!
Mississippi is one of the first 10 states to have participation in the Vehicle Donation Program.
States participated so far are:
"Honk Honk! Keep the donations rolling in!"
